I hope you’re offering your starving enemy some of your food during this vision of yours. Haha!!

But I don’t think Jesus of all people is interested in letting anyone starve.

I resonate with this deeply,

Though on a side-note about enemies, I always feel that enemies are no longer what the regular person has but rather people like politicians, nations, etc. basically not having a normal personal behaving or doing anything that would garner the profound relationship of an "enemy"...

I live life (or try best to) as much as you mention here as possible.

Though I try to consume my thinking and heart to only include anyone that love me and that I love.

This way for me, negates the voices and actions of anyone that may not be of benefit to my endeavours or life. And neither is my success tainted with wanting to show the "haters" just how far I have come despite them.

I think the greatest revenge one can do for our haters and enemies, as it were, was if we were to bring them on the journey with us towards their success too if we can.

Want to go fast? Go alone.

Want to go far? Go together.

Great points Leo. I would love to bring my enemies with me, but they usually hate me so much that its an impossibility.

that sounds like a case of spitting the hand that feeds.

All you can really make sure you do is be true to yourself, and as yourself invite others indiscriminately (especially enemies) to venture with you.

In the end, many or none will, and surprisingly not all your friends will either.

But you did your best, gave your best, and the offer was made.

That will be your mark as someone of substance.

going fast and/or far isn’t as important to me (anymore) as going with God--which is always forward, and always right. It may be slow and not very far at all if we measure by our standards but it’s what works for me.

Knowing you Ray, I feel you are allowed to think about far or fast still as I believe in your heart that God will be travelling with you at any speed which you are moving with pure intentions.
